We listen to Bay Area unhoused youth.
Then, we help them rebuild their life and self confidence by creating innovative, human centered solutions to their most immediate and long term problems.
Planting Hope. changing lives.
Our Mission
The first mission of SEEDS is to provide direct and immediate care to kids living on the streets.
Our innovative street outreach program (solutions?) not only provides Bay Area unhoused youth with tools and resources to survive while living on the streets, but also works to develop safe space and meaningful relationships which enable kids to move off the streets and on with their lives to thrive.

Mobile outreach (seedsmobile))
Our first mission is to provide bay area unhoused youth with tools and resources not only to survive, but thrive.
We believe that given the right support and resources, youth living on the streets can reclaim their lives and fulfill their dreams.
Our Human Centered Design approach put our customers and their needs at the heart of our work.
Develop trust
listen, develop understanding of short and long term problems
create solutions to answer long and short term needs
We start by listening to them, until we have a clear picture of the the problems they are facing. Then, we develop solutions which answer both their immediate needs and long term dreams.
With the combined efforts of our local and regional communities, Seeds is helping homeless and street youth access the resources and services they need to move off of the streets and on with their lives.
Having reached epidemic proportions, the streets of California currently house the largest population of unaccompanied homeless youth in the country. Current SEEDS outreach efforts are focusing on kids living in San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Mateo and Santa Cruz counties.
